Landing

If there’s breeze:

Land facing the lake, left-hand U approach.

Do not fly over the campsite!

If high: blue arrow

Make good use of the entire width of the field to make 8s between the camping corner and the nature reserve corner (not S-turns).

If low (at trees height) orange arrow:
Turn immediately to face the wind.

Slowly turn, keeping some brake on your outside hands.

If south wind

8  approach and land back to the lake (yellow arrow)

If strong wind

Even with a lot of height do not go to the far end of the field. Keep a safety margin.
It’s possible to brake to manage your ground glide ratio and perform a precision landing.
